The Ultimate Peptide Weight Loss Program for Men & Women
Welcome to The Irvine Institute of medicine & Cosmetic surgery
Ken L. Williams Jr., DO, Diplomate (ABHRS) and Fellow (ISHRS)
Our Peptide Weight Loss Program offers a personalized approach to weight loss for men and women, leveraging Peptide therapy medications including Semaglutide (similar to Wegovy or Ozempic) and Tirzepatide (I.e. Generic versions of Zepbound, Monjouro).
This unique weight loss accountability program includes a tailored prescription based on health assessment, a structured plan aiming for significant weight reduction and continuous monitoring and adaptive dosage management for long-term weight loss success.
The process involves an initial consultation, diagnosis, personalized plan creation, and regular follow-ups to ensure safe and effective weight loss outcomes.
Without getting diagnosed you may be running a risk of getting medication that could conflict with your current health conditions. This could lead to a number of poor health outcomes.
Everybody’s biochemistry is different. This means one person with a certain genetic makeup can respond to a certain dosage while someone else may need a higher or loser dose.
Getting a personalized prescription from an expert greatly increases the opportunity to prescribe the correct dosage for each weight loss patient.
When you are initially prescribed it’s your initial dosage plan. However, as the body reacts to the medication you may require an adjustment up or down.
Working with an expert to monitor and adjust your dosage plan safely is crucial for long term weight loss.

What is Peptide Therapy?
Peptide therapy involves the use of specific peptides to improve various health conditions and enhance physical performance. Peptides are short chains of amino acids that are the building blocks of proteins. They naturally occur in the body and play a crucial role in numerous biological functions.
How Does Peptide Therapy Work?
Peptide therapy works by supplementing the body with specific peptides that can target and stimulate particular functions. These peptides can interact with cells to promote healing, improve tissue repair, enhance muscle growth, and regulate hormone levels.

My experience was nothing less than perfect. The entire staff is wonderful and very friendly. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. They’re very keen on being ‘connected’ to the client and making you feel comfortable while providing a professional demeanor. They did a fantastic job on explaining the process of the procedure. I LOVED the e-mail/texts reminding me of my appointment and thank you notifications. I would and am going to refer my friends and family.
Dear Dr. Ken,
I really enjoyed meeting you yesterday and wish all doctors were like you. I was dead set on not getting any surgical procedures and thought for sure after our meeting I would feel the same way. However, between you and the education you guys gave me, I’ve changed my mind. I have to wait until next April before surgery, but I will start using Propecia and Rogain in the manner you recommended… I wanted to not like you guys and come home to tell my wife “no way”, but instead, I’m developing a love for you guys and look forward to our future relations. Thank you for being so cool!
Hi Dr. Williams,
I just really wanted to thank you again for all your time today. I finally felt that I was in a comfortable environment with a doctor that actually cares for his patients, something that is tough to come by these days. It came a shock to me that you were the first doctor who told me to be patient versus jumping into the operation room, and for that I truly thank you. I wish there were more doctors like you in the world today, and I’m very very thankful I was able to find such a great doctor. I hope to stabilize this process as much as I can, and will continue to do your suggested treatment. I look forward to our second consult in the near future.
The experience was like going to a family members home… very sweet &
caring office staff.
Terrific visit – very knowledgeable doctor – clear and comprehensive explaining of options and procedures – beautiful woman at front desk made me feel welcome and added to the overall warmth and professionalism of the entire staff.
Hey Dr. Ken,
Thanks so much for helping my hair follicles grow up healthier and stronger.
Your personality and methods are above and beyond any other doctor I’ve ever been to. Really stoked. Looking forward to the next year.
I am astounded by the exemplary level of care I receive. I couldn’t be more pleased.
Thanks for taking the time to go over all the details during my appointment. This was by far the most comprehensive consultation that I have had among the four doctors that I have seen over the past two weeks. After talking to Dr. Williams and reviewing some of the material that he had emailed, I feel very comfortable moving forward with FUE hair transplant procedure with him.
The mechanism of action behind peptides and Semaglutide and Terzepitide injections is that they inhibit the portion of the brain that stimulates appetite. This medication works by mimicking a peptide hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). This medication targets areas of the brain that regulates appetite and food intake. The medication dose must be increased gradually over 16 to 20 weeks to 2.5 mg once weekly to reduce gastrointestinal side effects. It mimics the GLP-1 hormone that is released in the gastrointestinal tract in response to eating. One role of GLP-1 is to prompt the body to produce more insulin, which reduces blood glucose (sugar). GLP-1 in producing more insulin reduces the blood sugar. This medication has been used for control of type 2 Diabetes for over 15 years. Learn more about our peptide weight loss program.
Safety and Efficacy is always a top concern for Dr. Williams and his office staff. Any pharmacologic weight loss intervention requires attention to details in the health and well-being of patients. The most common side effects of Semaglutide and Terzepitide include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal (stomach) pain, headache, fatigue, dyspepsia (indigestion), dizziness, abdominal distension, eructation (belching), hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) in patients with type 2 diabetes, flatulence (gas buildup), gastroenteritis (an intestinal infection) and gastroesophageal reflux disease (a type of digestive disorder). Pancreatitis is a serious side effect.
The prescribing information for this medication contains a Black Box warning to inform healthcare professionals and patients about the potential risk of thyroid C-cell tumors. This medication should not be used in patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, or in patients with a rare condition called Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).
Semaglutide and Terzepitide are available only with a doctor’s prescription or in an office based physician supervised program. Other oral medications are available for post semaglutide therapy that is explored towards the end of the weight loss program when weight goals are achieved.
The weight loss begins with involuntary appetite suppression. That effect may not occur until 1-2 weeks after beginning the program. The effects of the appetite suppression may be significant that you will not want to eat. Remember you must be on a low caloric diet whole you are on this weight loss program. Vitamins and micronutrients are also important.
Not all patients are eligible to use semaglutide. Individuals may inquire about eligibility criteria, such as age, medical history, and pre-existing conditions, to determine if they are candidates for the treatment.
Semaglutide and Terzepitide are given once a week in the office. You will be evaluated by office staff and Dr. Williams will determine the dosage of the medication. The dose will ary each week according to your clinical response.
You need to understand the role of diet and lifestyle modifications in conjunction with the semaglutide injections to maximize your results. This medication should be used in addition to a reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity.
Yes, vitamins are critical to be healthy while you are on this aggressive weight loss program. Dr. Williams will recommend a specific supplement strategy as part of your weight loss regiment.
You should plan on making life style adjustments to your daily routines or habits while undergoing treatment. Normally, there is no noticeable changes in your daily activity except a loss of appetite. You will notice a lack of desire to consume any food. You must consume foods while you are on this diet.
